FAQ

What is the difference between Vita Athletic Development and other training programs?

  • At Vita, we specialize in strength and conditioning from the very early stages of development all the way to the professional ranks. Our programs are all individually tailored to maximize efficiency of progression and reduce the amount of time to obtain realistic goals with the least risk of injury. Speed, strength, power, endurance, and overall increased performance are what we do best.

What programs do you offer?

  • Vita offers a wide variety of challenging, high performance programs. Our youth programs are training-age specific, with only four athletes per session, to promote an environment that is optimal for success. We have an 11-14 and a 15-18 age group for both resistance training (strength) and movement preparation (speed). Vita's training coaches also have experience at the collegiate level to maximize performance and minimize the risk of injury. If there is a prior injury or a client is finishing with physical therapy, we will provide a seamless transition back to full function.

Are the Strength Coaches qualified?

  • Our strength and performance coaches have coached at some of the most prestigious facilities in the nation. Each member of our staff has an exercise science-based degree from an accredited university and is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS). With over a combined 30 years of training experience, we know what it takes to get you and your athletes on the right path.

Why do I need an evaluation?

  • Vita Athletic Development has a systematic multidisciplinary assessment protocol that assesses muscular imbalances, past injuries, regenerative habits, current training capacities or ‘Training Age.’ We also set long- and short-term goals to meet each athlete’s individual needs.

What times do the groups start?

  • Our groups start at various times, usually after 2:30 p.m. during the school year. Call 414-351-8482 to ask about specific times or to reserve your spot now.
