PHYSICAL THERAPY
EXPERIENCE THE VITA DIFFERENCE!
Vita specializes in outpatient physical therapy provided within an upscale, wellness gym environment. Whether you are treating an injury, recovering from surgery, or trying to alleviate chronic pain, Vita will design a physical therapy program specifically for you.
Vita physical therapists strive for excellence by providing one-on-one, personalized care based on proven clinical outcomes. Focusing on transitioning each patient from rehabilitation, to prevention, to optimal performance sets Vita Physical Therapy apart from other physical therapy clinics.
Vita physical therapists are committed to building strong, collaborative relationships with treating physicians. If an injury is work related, Vita physical therapists will communicate with the case manager, physician, and employer to determine a return-to-work plan at a level that is in the best interest of the patient.
VITA'S INTEGRATED APPROACH
- 1. A Vita care coordinator will perform an insurance benefits check to gather information such as how many physical therapy sessions your insurance plan covers and whether a referral/prescription is needed from your physician.
- 2. At your first visit, a licensed physical therapist performs an initial evaluation that is used to create a one-of-a kind plan of care (POC).
- 3. Physical therapy sessions are conducted 2-3 times weekly for 45-60 minutes per session, according to your individualized POC.
- 4. Each physical therapy session is performed entirely by a licensed physical therapist.
- 5. Vita physical therapy methods combine modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation and traction; manual therapeutic techniques like massage, joint mobilization, myofascial release and muscle activation; and therapist-assisted prescription exercise conducted in Vita’s wellness gym.
- 6. Patients are also instructed in a personalized home exercise program of therapeutic techniques and exercises to be performed at home (or in the comfort of the Vita wellness gym utilizing Olympic-quality equipment).
- 7. Communication between your Vita physical therapist and your treating physician optimizes your POC and rehabilitation goals.
- 8. At the end of treatment, patients may continue to perform therapeutic and strength-building exercises at Vita with a gym membership or Independent Exercise Program (IEP) even after insurance coverage has reached its limit. See Options.
