TOMMY GRABOWSKI DPT - Vita President


Along with Jeff Konczal, Tommy Grabowski co-founded Vita in 2004. Dr. Grabowski received his Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University-Nebraska and his Master’s and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Concordia University-Wisconsin. He is also a licensed massage therapist and graduate of the Blue Sky School of Professional Massage in Grafton, Wisconsin. As a collegiate athlete, Dr. Grabowski participated in football, track & field, and cross country, receiving All-America honors in the latter two sports. He is also an accomplished second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was the 1992 Nebraska Junior Olympic gold medalist, later invited to train for the US National Team.

Dr. Grabowski has been featured as a consultant for numerous local media and hosted a fitness show “Training with Tommy” on Time Warner Cable. His unique blend of academic/clinical background and experience in athletics and fitness has helped him develop an integrated concept bridging physical medicine and fitness. This innovative approach has helped make Vita the premier, medically-oriented fitness center in the Milwaukee area.

Dr. Grabowski incorporates manual therapy treatments such as joint mobilization, neuromuscular therapy, and myofascial release techniques with corrective movement exercises and treats patients from a wide range of functional levels, from post surgical to elite athlete. He is certified in Functional Capacity Evaluations

ERIK BORK DPT, CSCS - Director of Physical Therapy


Erik is described as a mechanist in his therapeutic technique. He closely studies joint mobility and mechanics, and performs treatments that combine a strong manual therapy approach along with exercise prescription and neuromuscular approaches to restore normal movement. Erik emphasizes strength and balance, specifically with older adults. Through the restoration of body strength and balance, there is less load and force on the joints, ligaments, and afflicted tendons.

Erik has extensive education in the evaluation and treatment of shoulder problems. He has taken numerous continuing education courses with the specific emphasis on the shoulder region and covering all types of injuries and problems related to shoulder function. He is experienced in non-surgical and post-surgical rehabilitation. Erik has worked extensively with baseball players and other overhead athletes in high school, college, and beyond. At Vita, he has worked with children as young as 6 and as old as 98.

Erik received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Concordia University in 2000. He completed his Master's of Physical Therapy in 2002 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2003.

JEREMIAH WEBER DPT, Vita Physical Therapist


Jeremiah works as a physical therapist and also has experience in personal training and athletic development. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a Human Performance emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2008. While at Eau Claire, Jeremiah was a member of the men's varsity hockey team receiving honors as a 4-year member of the NCHA all academic team, nominated for NCHA scholar athlete of the year, as well as a two-time recipient of the Richard G O’brien award for outstanding work ethic.

Recently, Jeremiah earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Concordia University-Wisconsin. While at Concordia, Jeremiah focused his education through elective course work on manual physical therapy. Courses taken placed special emphasis on evidence-based thrust and non-thrust interventions for back and lumbopelvic pain. Jeremiah takes special interest in combining hands on, manual physical therapy skills with his exercise and athletic knowledge to assist patients in returning to their prior level of function.
